This concert poster highlights my digital illustration skills. It also displays sound typography, layout, color theory, and hierarchy fundamentals. However, one of the most important skills utilized in this design was research. I researched the history of concert poster design, the band M83, and the target audience. A good designer needs to know when to apply their own style vs. when to design the appropriate style for the intent of the content.
